Bible Passage(s): Numbers 20: 1 – 12
Memory Verse: “Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.” NIV Numbers 20:8
The passage for this message tells of the experience of the children of Israel in the Desert of Zin, on their way to the Promised Land. This story points out the fact that, on our way to our Promised Land, we may for all intents and purposes, have a desert experience. In the case of the children of Israel, their desert experience, in this instance, was of lack of water. Note, lack of water can be a very catastrophic experience when one finds himself in the wilderness and a desert for that matter! However, on this occasion, they forgot how God took them through worst experiences and performed incredible miracles for them. For example, crossing the Red Sea, the bitter water of Mara, Mana and quail from heaven and so on.
Lack of abiding faith in God led them to complain and rebel against Moses and Aron, their leaders. The emphasis here is that, when we have abiding and unflinching faith in God, He will perform miracles in our lives, even if He has to bring water out of the rock!
This month I declare that you will be blessed to the extent that even the blessed will call you blessed. You will come into national prominence and attention. The lord will restore all your years of near misses and your blessings will surpass all your past losses.
However, we stated in the Message of February, faith is the essential ingredient that will enable us to live the life of the Unlimited, which God promised us this year. When faith is absent, walking in the supernatural is impossible and miracles cannot happen! You will experience outstanding and astounding miracles when abiding faith is present.
We must not be tentative about our faith in God. Rather, we must hold on, not wavering nor complaining like the children of Israel. We have to go on all the way, exercising our faith to the end, not considering our situations or circumstances.
May the Lord bless and keep you. May He make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you. May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace, now and forevermore. Amen.
Prayer
Lord, as I go through this month of uncommon miracles, grant me the abiding faith to follow you all the way to the end, not complaining, no matter the situation that may confront me in Jesus mighty name.
The Lord will perform uncommon miracles in your life, water from the rock will flow to you when you go through the desert. You will be blessed to the extent that the blessed will call you blessed.
