Bible Passage(s): Psalm 103: 1-10
Memory Verse: “Praise the LORD, O my soul all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the LORD, O my soul and forget not all his benefits —'' Ps 103:1-2 NIV
This is a Psalm of praise, written by King David to demonstrate and acknowledge the wisdom of God and praise Him for His many benefits, ongoing mercy, His transcendent glory and gentle care, which He has bestowed upon him. The psalmist therefore enjoined us to bless the Lord with all our soul and all that is within us. That is every fiber of our being.
Indeed we have many things for which to praise and bless the Lord. Though our situation, sometimes may appear bleak and we do not feel like praising Him, David still enjoins us to praise Him all the same. ....

This month, I feel that the Lord is calling us once again to address the issue of Restoration. Restoration comes in various and diverse dimensions; in the physical as well as the spiritual realm.

Bible Passage(s): Ephesians 2: 1 - 13
Memory Verse: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.'' Eph 2:8-9
As we enter the month of April today, we enter into the season of Easter. Easter is of great significance to Christians, in that, it symbolizes the authenticity of our faith. As Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:14 and 17 ‘… if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty’; and ‘…. if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile;’

Bible Passage(s): Jude
Memory Verse: "Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt I had to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints.'' Jude 3
Our world and indeed our nations are in crisis and also the church of God. We do not need any prophet to tell us that indeed the end time is upon us. What then are we to do as children of God?
Sunday 1, February 2015
This month, February 2015 is a very important month in the history of our beloved nation, Nigeria. This is because, as from 14 February, we will be electing a new set of leaders who will rule the nation for another four years. The electioneering campaigns have been very acrimonious and run with bad language in a show of desperation. Nigerians have been divided along ethnic and religious lines, all for the sake of winning the election!

Bible Passage(s): Psalm 43: 1 - 17
Memory Verse: “He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD” Psalm 40:3
The year 2015 has a great significance for my nation Nigeria, coupled with the fact that it is an election year in the country. This is not just another election, but one that may redefine the political landscape of Nigeria and have a lasting impact on the nation. There is also this prediction by an American diplomat, that the year 2015 may bring to an end the nation called Nigeria!
A review of the defunct year 2014, will reveal a lot of heartaches and turmoil all over our world and some of our nations. We had the Boko Haram menace in Nigeria, which continues unabated and our government has not been able to bring it to an end.

Bible Passage: Psalm 100
Memory Verse: "It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name, O Most High, to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night, to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp." Psalm 92:1-3 NIV
Every time we approach the end of a year, we always have the tendency to look back and appraise our lives and consider how far we have come. Many times we focus on the negative; what we have not achieved; the mountains we could not climb; our failures, inadequacies and shortcomings. In the process, we forget to recount those things that the Lord did for us, the many dangers and perils from which He delivered us. The numerous journey mercies, the near misses! Some went through difficult periods and great challenges. What about breakthroughs, elevations and promotions, healings (of ourselves and our families)?
