SCDEP is an advocacy cum scholarship scheme for secondary school student. The Advocacy aspect of the scheme addresses issues that are peculiar to the locality of the schools involved in the scheme (teenage pregnancy, health and nutrition, career choices, moral decadence etc). The scheme is aimed at ‘developing a total child’. The Scholarship Scheme is to assist financially challenged students cover the school levies and exercise books while for those in final classes, like JS 3 and SS 3. It includes their final exam fees such as junior and senior WAEC and NECO. Meal subsidy is also included. The programme is currently being ran in six schools based in Isokan Local Government of Osun State.
